PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an enlargement of a stroboscopic irradiation range in a wide side of a zoom lens and light amount increase in a tele side in a digital camera provided with stroboscopes. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 has two incorporated stroboscopes 2a and 2b. A processor of the digital camera 1 variably controls irradiation directions of the incorporated stroboscopes 2a and 2b in response to a zoom position of the zoom lens 5. When the zoom position of the zoom lens 5 is set at the wide side, the irradiation directions of the incorporated stroboscopes 2a and 2b are controlled in mutually separating directions to widen a stroboscope irradiation range. When the zoom position of the zoom lens 5 is set at the tele side, the irradiation directions of the incorporated stroboscopes 2a and 2b are controlled in mutually intersecting directions to overlay the stroboscope irradiation range so as to increase the light amount.
