PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small object measuring device that can be constituted inexpensively with a very simple structure, does not cause focus shift, and hardly restricts the shape of a circulation passage for passing the small object. SOLUTION: The small object measuring device measures forms of one or a plurality of small objects 2 flowing in a medium. The small object measuring device comprises a light source 6, a parallelling lens 7 for parallelling the light coming out of the light source 6 into parallel light travelling in the optical axis direction C, a condenser lens 8 arranged separately from the parallelling lens 7 in the optical axis direction C by a certain distance, the circulation passage 9 that is disposed between the lenses 7 and 8 and passes the small objects 2 in the direction crossing the light, and an area image sensor 4 for receiving the light from the condenser lens 8 and outputting image data including contour information of the small objects 2.
