PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator system, a robot arm and a medical rehabilitation system capable of obtaining a joint flexion angle same as that of human's arms and legs. SOLUTION: This actuator system is composed of a hollow cylindrical elastic body, and a reinforcement material buried in the elastic body along the longitudinal direction of the elastic body and having low elasticity in comparison with the elastic body. A plurality of actuators 10 longitudinally contractible by supply of pressurized fluid are mounted in an offset state, and connected with each other to be configured in series.
