PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a vane rotary type pump by effectively discharging wear powder generated by its operation and inhibiting deterioration of slidability of a vane tip. SOLUTION: Since a large quantity of wear powder generated by slide of a vane 10 is effectively built up in a groove 13 or discharged from a discharge hole 2 by providing one or a plurality of the grooves on an inner circumference surface of a pump housing 1, wear powder is not built up or adhered by being pressed against the inner circumference surface of the pump housing 1 by slide of the vane 10, the slidability of the tip of the vane 10 is not deteriorated, and the reliability is improved.
