PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find easily an elevator passenger confined in a car owing to inexecution of necessary operation in the car. SOLUTION: When a human body sensor 4 senses existence of a passenger in the car 3 a predetermined time after the door is closed in case the door opened with landing of the car 3 is closed and no call is registered, an elevator control board 1 transmits a video signal based on an image photographed by an intra-car camera 7 from a communication modulating device 9 to a remotely monitoring center 11 so that the situation in the car 3 is displayed in a monitor 13a of an information terminal unit 13. The elevator control board 1 transmits an audio signal given by a microphone of an interphone 6 from the communication modulating device 9 so that an operator 12 in the remotely monitoring center 11 can hear the voice of the passenger 2 in the car 3.
