PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long glass package apparatus capable of reducing packing costs by eliminating expensive large timber and reducing the time and effort for a packing operation. SOLUTION: V-shaped receiving fitting 11 and 12 for receiving the upper fittings 3 and lower fittings 4 of a long glass W like a bushing are raised at both ends of the upper face of a long rest 10 made of a metal. A long glass W is supported at both ends. The entire long glass W is stored in an open top container and transported. Therefore, the packing costs are reduced by eliminating the need for conventional expensive, large timber and also the need for complex alignment in a field. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
