There are included a correlator (12) that shapes the spectrum of a signal; and a pre-coder (12) that is located before the correlator and that comprises an adder, which subtracts an output signal of a feedback filter from an input signal, a modulo calculator, which receives an output signal from the adder and performs a modulo calculation, and a feedback filter which receives an output signal from the modulo calculator and has a transfer function of subtracting a unity ("1") from the transfer function of the correlator. The correlator may be an IIR filter means having a predetermined notch characteristic. It is possible to flexibly shape any transport signal spectrum including a deep notch. Additionally, a correlator, which suppresses only a particular band, may be located at a receiving end, whereby externally coming noise can be suppressed.
