<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a polycrystal ceramic sintered compact by which complicated preliminary verification is reduced, and a polycrystal ceramic sintered compact having desired practical physical properties can be selected at high accuracy, and which can contribute to the establishment of the industrial production method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The evaluation method in this invention is characterized in that a polycrystal ceramic sintered compact is irradiated with positrons, the disappearance life of the incident positrons is measured, and, on the basis of the measured result, the practical physical properties of the polycrystal ceramic sintered compact are estimated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
