<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device which includes an electrostatic conveyance member moving toner on a surface thereof by a phase-shifting electric field and is capable of satisfactorily collecting the toner on the electrostatic transport member, after passing a development area and is capable of stable development, and to provide an image forming apparatus including the same. <P>SOLUTION: A transport electrode end part 130e, that is the downstream side end and a transport electrode start part 130s that is the upstream side end, in a toner transport direction of an electrostatic transport surface 103a of an electrostatic transport roller 13 are spaced, and the space between them serves as a non-electric field region 136, and a conductive plate 200 as a toner collection means is provided so as to collect toner particles around the transport electrode end part 130e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
