<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus enabling a user to hear procedures for coping with each error in real time and to conduct work when the error occurs, and to provide a method of controlling the electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a speech information storage means 10 for storing speech information including an error notification message corresponding each error and a correspondence procedure message corresponding to each error; an error occurrence recognition means 11 for recognizing the occurrence of each error; a panel open and close detection means 13 for detecting the open and close of a panel at a place corresponding to the occurrence of each error; and a speech reproduction means 14 for reproducing the speech information containing the error notification message corresponding to each error, when the occurrence of each error is recognized, and for reproducing the speech information containing the correspondence procedure message corresponding to each error, when the error notification message corresponding to each error is reproduced, and then it is detected that the panel at the place corresponding to the occurrence of each error is opened by the panel open and close detection means 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
