<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus which maintains a proper image output setting status and can suppress occurrence of an abnormal image such as excessive density or offset. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with: a pattern density detection sensor 103 which detects the reflection density of a toner pattern; a standing time detection means 104 which detects the standing time from date of manufacture to supply time on the basis of manufacturing information on new toner to be supplied when the new toner is supplied into a developing device 12; a temperature detection sensor 107 which detects the temperature of a sheet S to which a toner image is transferred when the standing time which the standing time detection means 104 detects is not within a predetermined range; and a controller 101 which corrects an image output setting value when an image is output so that the image density becomes a predetermined density, on the basis of the standing time which the standing time detection means 104 detects and the temperature of the recording paper which the temperature detection sensor 107 detects. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
