<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with a plurality of image carriers, and excellently forming an image even when the image carriers are arranged in a wrong order. <P>SOLUTION: According a stage (first stage, second stage, ... from a resist roller side) at which the developing units for respective colors (Black, Magenta, Cyan and Yellow) are disposed, correction information of parameters such as the coefficient of γ correction, the power of a laser beam, developing bias and transfer bias is set (K1, K2, ...) according thereto. When starting formation of the image, the order (color order of toner) for arranging the developing units and photoreceptor drums is detected and the correction information is set according to the detected result, whereby the image is excellently formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
