PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a shaft type linear motor which can be mounted easily on an apparatus and exhibiting good conveyance performance. SOLUTION: The shaft type linear motor 10 comprises a stator 20 held at the opposite ends while containing a plurality of magnets 24 in a pipe member 21, and a moving member 30 including a coil 31 arranged to wrap the stator 20 wherein a sealing member 23 for holding the magnet 24 is provided at one end of the stator 20, and at least one screw for holding a holding mechanism 90 provided in an apparatus is formed on the sealing member 23.
