PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized high-performance antenna apparatus considering a problem of a conventional antenna apparatus that its size is expanded when attaining improvement in characteristics. SOLUTION: A radiator 3 includes radiating elements 21, 22 having a shape symmetrical with respect to a Y axis, and lead wire portions 23, 24 connecting the tip end portions of these radiating elements 21, 22 to each other. The radiating element 21, 22 has at least a part of outer shape formed such that its distance from the Y axis increases with increasing the distance from a midpoint of a line segment joining feed points FD1, FD2 to each other along the Y axis. Two radiators having such a shape are arranged along the receiving direction of electric waves and are fed with a phase difference, thereby realizing a miniaturized high-performance antenna apparatus.
