<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deviation of estimated lateral acceleration due to the slip of a wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The lateral acceleration calculation device is equipped with a temporary lateral acceleration calculation part 21b calculating the temporary lateral acceleration of a vehicle from the vehicle speed, a wheel speed difference calculation part 21c calculating the wheel speed difference of the front and rear wheel of the right and left, an estimated vehicle body speed calculation part 21d calculating an estimated vehicle body speed, an estimated wheel speed difference acquisition part 21e acquiring the estimated wheel speed difference within the range having a possibility by the estimated vehicle body speed, and a lateral acceleration calculation part 21f which makes the temporary lateral acceleration the estimated lateral acceleration when the wheel speed difference is within the estimated wheel speed difference to be acquired, and corrects the temporary acceleration to the decreasing direction to make it the estimated acceleration of the vehicle, when the vehicle speed difference is not within the range of the estimated wheel speed difference to be acquired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
