PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system constituted so that aperture control of an optical system wherein the optical path is divided for autofocusing can be carried out similarly to that of a normal optical system by correcting the instructed aperture value of the diaphragm and making the light quantity of an object image formed by the optical system where the optical path is divided for autofocusing same as that of an object image formed by a normal optical system where the optical path is not divided. SOLUTION: In the lens system for broadcasting, when an operator sets an aperture value (FNo.) for a camera control unit (CCU) 52, the aperture command signal is given to the CPU 10 of the lens system via the camera main body 50.
