PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction system for reproducing video and audio from an optical disk suitably. SOLUTION: In the reproduction system for reproducing a video title from the optical disk, a video manager menu language unit (VMGM_LU) is acquired, a video manager menu is reproduced, and a title set search pointer table (TT_SRPT) is used to search a video title set (VTS), reproducing a video title by the agreement of a language code inherent to a reproducing device with a video manager menu language code (VMGM_LCD).
