PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording apparatus without securing a period of time required for test writing specially by repeating alternately recording of data and processing operation of test writing. SOLUTION: Data to be recorded in a data area is stored in a memory 108 while test writing for a test writing area of an optical disk is performed, recording of data for the data area and test writing for the test writing area are performed alternately.
