PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the theft prevention property of a paper money processor loaded on an automatic vending machine, a money changer or a game machine or the like. SOLUTION: This paper money processor 1 is provided with a paper money storage part 4 attached to the device body so as to be freely attachable/detachable, a front panel 10 arranged at the front side of the device main body, and formed with a paper money insertion port and a support means 5 for fixing the paper money storage part 4 to the device 1 freely attachably/detachably. The support means 5 is provided with a mechanism for releasing the fixing of the paper money storage part 4 according to any impact from the outside to the front panel 10, and when the fixing of the paper money storage part 4 by the supporting means 5 is released, the paper money storage part 4 is separated from the body of the device 1. When the front panel 10 is tried to be destroyed, the paper money storage part 4 falls off according to the destruction impact so that any illegal action to extract the paper money in the paper money storage part 4 from the destroyed place can be effectively prevented.
