PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the workload in setting the property values also, without intervening errors from occurring, when inputting information as a property value. SOLUTION: At newly registering of a document, the system accepts the specifications of associating header information items with items of document properties defined in the system, sets the header information as the value of the document properties in accordance with the specified association, and newly registers the document.
