PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel capable of reducing pattern view in a non-illumination state. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the liquid crystal panel constituted by arranging a first transparent substrate provided with pattern-formed segment electrodes on one surface side and a second transparent substrate provided with a common electrode on one surface side opposite each other so that the respective electrodes have specified gap differences, and then charging liquid crystal between both the transparent substrates, the liquid crystal display panel being characterized in that the segment electrodes are thinner than the common electrode and the difference (A-B) between a gap difference A between a part of the first transparent electrodes where the segment electrodes are absent and the common electrode and a gap difference B between the segment electrodes and common electrode is≤0.1μm.
