PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display (FPD) module which is advantageous to reduction in size and thickness. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 3 with a liquid crystal held between a pair of glass substrates 31 and 32, is held by a holder 2 in a state in which an end section of the rear glass substrate 32 of an opposite side is locked by a locking hook 27 by closely engaging a slope 251 of an engagement hook section 25 of the holder 2 to a slope 311 formed on an end face of the front glass substrate 31, and the panel is accommodated in a panel storage chamber 11 of an upper stage of a storage case 1.
