PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a sliding part capable of maintaining high lubrication performance of a sliding face for a long period of time in a member having the sliding face sliding between the member having the sliding face and a mate side member. SOLUTION: A structure of an inner peripheral part of a bearing bush 1 of an auto-tensioner is provided with a sintered layer 3 forming a plurality of recessed and projecting parts on its surface and a coating layer 4 for covering an inner peripheral face while a coating material enters the recessed part 32 on the sintered layer 3. Consequently, it is possible to maintain high close adhesion property of the coating layer 4 for the sintered layer 3, prevent the coating layer 4 from being easily peeled off, and maintain high sliding performance between the bearing bush 1 and the mate side member for a long period of time.
