PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling mechanism lubricating device for eliminating the need for separately forming an oil path for supplying oil to a coupling joint part and an oil path for supplying it to a driven rotation mechanism, while preventing the supply of wear debris from the coupling joint part to the driven rotation mechanism. SOLUTION: An Oldham coupling 14 has a recessed groove rotation member 16 on the side of an exhaust cam shaft 6, whose diameter is larger than that of a protruded rotation member 18 on the side of a vacuum pump 2. Thus, oil splash discharged from the vacuum pump 2 can be guided to the coupling joint part. In this way, the coupling joint part is lubricated by the oil splash from the vacuum pump 2, thereby eliminating the need for separately forming the oil path for the coupling joint part. Still, the oil is supplied to the coupling joint part after lubricating the vacuum pump 2, preventing the supply of wear debris to the vacuum pump 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
