PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for utilizing a jigsaw puzzle by which an intellectual ability can be enhanced. SOLUTION: A plurality of jigsaw puzzles different in the size of a picture, having pieces larger than the normal ones, are manufactured from a universal and time-sequential picture which attracts the interest of a training person, based on the theory of a reminiscence method. The training is performed from the smallest jigsaw puzzle manufactured with the picture which is old in the time sequence, and then, gradually developed to be performed with the largest jigsaw puzzle manufactured with the picture which is new in the time sequence.
