PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost by being assembled from small types of members and facilitate the assembling by minimizing ceiling-face panels and floor-face panels. SOLUTION: This heat/cold-retaining box of a warm/cold food service wagon is provided with heat-retaining side-face panels 2, cold-retaining side-face panels 4, partition racks 7, the ceiling-face panels 8, the floor-face panels 9, and side-panel connecting stays 10. The partition racks 7 are disposed to partition between the heat-retaining side-face panels 2 and the cold-retaining side-face panels 4, the ceiling-face panels 8 are attached between the upper ends of the heat-retaining side-face panels 2 and the cold-retaining side-face panels 4, and the floor-face panels 8 are attached across the lower ends of the heat-retaining side-face panels 2, partition racks 7 and the cold-retaining side-face panels 4, so that a heat/cold-retaining unit 13 formed with a heat-retaining chamber 11 and a cold-retaining chamber 12 is assembled.
