PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment which scan a subject three-dimensionally using vibrators fewer than conventional equipment. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 10 comprises a probe handle 20 and a mainframe 30. The probe handle 20 has arrayed vibrators 40 containing sub-arrays 41-48 arranged in four rows and two columns, multiplexers 21 and 22 for choosing the sub-arrays 41-48, sub-beam formers 23 and 24 for phasing an output signal of the multiplexer 21, sub-beam formers 25 and 26 for phasing an output signal of the multiplexer 22, and a scanning section 27 for controlling the movement of the multiplexers 21 and 22 and the sub-beam formers 23-26.
