PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack freight container which enables consistent transfer without carrying out the work of a loading change even if it is the transfer over the inside and outside of Japan. SOLUTION: This container consists of a base member 2 which can be mounted on the upper section of a seat 4 capable of moving on a railroad or the like and on which three freight containers 5 of 12 feet in overall length can be mounted in a longitudinal direction and corner posts 3 erected at the four corners in the base member 2, and the base member 2 is provided with the first securing means 8 which can support the first supporting means allotted to the first freight container 6 based on the JIS for the freight container 5 and the second securing means 9 which can support the second supporting means allotted to the second freight container 7 based on the International Standard for the freight container 5.
