PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving/transmitting device, a radio A/V system and a control method of radio A/V system wherein error by transmission of EPG menu data and/or an EPG debugging signal is canceled, and real time both-way communication to an EPG debugging signal can be realized.

SOLUTION: This broadcast receiving/transmitting device is provided with a broadcast signal processing portion, a module, and a control portion. The broadcast signal processing portion performs encoding of a broadcast receiving/transmission device broadcast signal by using encoding format and outputting it. The module performs radio transmission of an encoded broadcast signal to an external device. The control portion detects electronic program guide information from the broadcast signal, forms EPG menu data, and controls the broadcast signal processing portion so that at least one of the EPG menu data and the broadcast signal is encoded by encoding format and transmitted to the external device through a transmission side radio module.
