<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior lighting system capable of performing the effective illumination with light sources of a small number. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle interior lighting system comprises a switch for operating a door or a door window which is provided on the in-cabin side of a vehicle door, and has a fluorescence material to be excited by the blue light, and a blue LED light source which is installed above the switch to emit the light on the switch side. The light from the blue LED light source partly illuminates the switch, and the other part thereof illuminates a seat surface of a vehicle seat or a floor surface in front of the vehicle seat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
