<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of spline collision noise between a hub wheel and a constant velocity universal joint in a spline fitting structure by clearance fit. <P>SOLUTION: In this bearing device for a wheel comprising an outer ring 105 provided with double row raceway surfaces 113, 114 on its inner periphery, an inner member having raceway surfaces 107, 108 on its outer periphery, and composed of a hub wheel 101 having a wheel mounting flange 109 on its one end and an inner ring 102, and double row rolling elements 103, 104 mounted between the raceway surfaces of the outer ring 105 and the inner member, and spline-fitting an inner diameter of the hub wheel 101 and an outer member 122 of the constant velocity universal joint 106 by clearance fit, a collision noise preventing material 131 of a spline is mounted between the spline 111 of the hub wheel 101 and the spline 125 of the outer member 122 of the constant velocity universal joint 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
