VECTOR CONTROL INVERTER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vector control inverter device from failing due to motor overload or rise in induced voltage.

SOLUTION: Limitations are placed in the vector control inverter device so that the q-axis current command value (Iqr) will not exceed the following: a certain limit value within a range in which the estimated angular speed value (ωe) of the rotor is not more than a first angular speed (ω1); a limit value that linearly reduces from the certain limit value at the first angular speed with increase in the estimated angular speed value within a range in which the estimated angular speed value is not less than the first angular speed and is not more than a second angular speed (ω2); and a certain limit value equal to the limit value at the second angular speed within a range in which the estimated angular speed value exceeds the second angular speed.
