摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology optimizing the distance from a reducing agent supply position to an exhaust emission control means in accordance with processing with respect to the exhaust emission control means and performing each processing under optimal conditions. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine 1 is provided with the exhaust emission control means arranged inside an exhaust passage extending from the internal combustion engine 1 and having a NOx catalyst and a filter; a first fuel addition valve supplying fuel to the upstream side of the exhaust emission control means; and a second fuel addition valve supplying fuel to the downstream side of the first fuel addition valve and the upstream side of the exhaust emission control means. At the time of NOx reduction processing and SOx poisoning cancellation processing, fuel is supplied from the first fuel addition valve, and at the time of PM oxidation and removal processing, fuel is supplied from the second fuel addition valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
