<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that discriminates its moving state so as to control GPS positioning algorithm on the basis of the fading pitch information of reception electric field strength discriminable in the ordinary operating state of its own mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal provided with a GPS reception section for receiving a radio wave from a satellite and a wireless processing section for making communication with a wireless base station includes: a fading pitch measurement means for measuring a fading pitch denoting a change in the electric field strength of a radio wave received from the wireless base station; a fading pitch discrimination means for discriminating the measured fading pitch; and a positioning mode revision means for revising the positioning mode of a GPS on the basis of the discriminated fading pitch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
