<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective display device capable of improving contrast of display by enhancing a retroreflective characteristic with regard to the reflective display device using a corner cube array. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective display device is provided with: a light modulation layer 64; a pair of substrates 60, 62 retaining the light modulation layer 64 there between; and an electrode structure which changes an optical characteristic of the light modulation layer 64 per a pixel unit. One side 62 of the pair of substrates is provided with the corner cube array 66 on which a plurality of corner cubes are arrayed. The corner cube array 66 has a surface 66u which specifies a retroreflective surface, a bottom surface 66b and a plurality of conductive members 80 which are arranged between the surface 66u and the bottom surface 66b. A part 80s of the upper surface of each conductive member 80 constitutes a part which is located on a bottom point part including the bottom point of a corner cube within the surface of the corner cube array 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
