LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND RETARDATION FILM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal composition having a reciprocal dispersion characteristic, and a retardation film using the liquid crystal composition.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal composition contains at least one liquid crystal compound, and a chiral agent. The liquid crystal compound has, at a wavelength λ, a natural birefringence Δn(λ) which satisfies formula (1) as follows: Δn(450 nm)/Δn(550 nm)<1.0 (1).
