<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk cartridge housing body with high light resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk cartridge housing body in which an optical disk having a recording layer on a base having a center hole is housed in a cartridge with an opening of a diameter equal to or smaller than an outer circumferential diameter of the optical disk formed so as to expose a face opposite from the recording layer to the outside from the opening is provided with a light shielding layer at an opposite side from the recording layer of the base of the optical disk and satisfying at least either the following condition A or condition B. The condition A: the inner circumferential diameter of the light shielding layer is smaller than the inner circumferential diameter of the recording layer by over 13mm, and at least partially larger than the inner circumferential diameter of the optical disk by over 0.1mm. The condition B: at least a portion of the outer circumferential diameter of the light shielding layer is equal to or larger than the outer circumferential diameter of the recording layer, and the diameter of the opening of the cartridge is at least partially equal to or smaller than the outer circumferential diameter of the light shielding layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
