PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disclose a plasma display device. SOLUTION: A plasma display device 100 includes a plasma display panel 11, a circuit board assembly 15, a chassis base 17, a driving IC package 27, a cover plate 31, and a reinforcing member 40. The reinforcing member 40 is assembled to a peripheral edge of the chassis base 17. The reinforcing member 40 supports the cover plate 31, and a fixed space (S) is formed between the chassis base 17 and the cover plate 31. Consequently, the driving IC package 27 passes the space.
