PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer making printing while holding a sheet between a print head and a platen roller in which an arrangement is simplified and the size is reduced. SOLUTION: The printer making printing on a sheet held between a print head and a platen roller by means of a print head comprises: a sheet guide block for guiding the sheet between the print head and the platen roller, and holding the platen roller; and an energizing member for energizing the sheet guide block or the print head to press the print head or the sheet guide block.
