PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph printing and developing machine (photographic processing apparatus) equipped with a drying part 12 which dries photographic paper having been processed with processing liquid by introducing a hot blast while conveying the photographic paper along a prescribed conveyance path, and in which the drying time is made as short as possible while increase in cost and power consumption are suppressed. SOLUTION: A winding roller 21 which sends out the photographic paper downstream while wound with the photographic paper with its base surface in contact with an outer circumferential surface is provided at a conveyance-path upstream-side end of the drying part 12, and the surface temperature of the winding roller 21 is raised with the hot blast blown out of a blow-off hole 30a to preheat the photographic paper.
