PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode ray tube television receiver that can prevent falling without damaging a housing of the television receiver and suppress an increase the number of components. SOLUTION: The cathode ray tube television receiver includes a falling suppression band 8 made of an insulating resin. The falling suppression band 8 is hooked to each of fitted parts 6b provided at both upper corners of a metal-made frame 6 fitted to a cathode ray tube. Further, both ends of the falling suppression band 8 are extracted from holes 2c. Engagement parts 8c, 8d and hooks 8e, 8f are provided at both extracted ends of the falling suppression band 8 and the engagement parts 8c, 8d and the hooks 8e, 8f are engaged with each other to form an annular fixed part 8g. The annular fixed part 8g is fixed to a television stand 5 with a screw 9 to suppress the fall-down of television receiver body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
