PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a microphone in which magnetic characteristics of the core of an output transformer are prevented from deteriorating by making it possible to earth the core without requiring soldering and protecting the output transformer against mechanical damage even if impact of the microphone is applied. SOLUTION: An earth pattern is formed at the position for mounting an output transformer of a circuit board 30 incorporated in a microphone. A conductive cloth 24 is placed on the earth pattern, the core 21 of the output transformer 20 is stacked on the conductive cloth 24 and the core 21 of the output transformer 20 is earthed through the conductive cloth 24. A second conductive cloth covering the output transformer 20 may be provided to touch the inner circumferential surface of a microphone case, or the second conductive cloth may be touched to the core 21 of the output transformer 20 and earthed to the microphone case.
