PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spatial multiplex transmission device capable of reducing deterioration in transmission quality in environment having a large transfer function estimation error. SOLUTION: The spatial multiplex transmission device 1 has a plurality of transmission and reception means, determines transmission weight suitable for a propagation environment, and assigns weight to each signal series to be transmitted for transmission by spatial multiplex and orthogonal frequency division multiplex. Transfer function matrix estimators 1701-107F estimate a transfer function matrix at each frequency band of the orthogonal frequency division multiplex. A transmission weight determination block 001 calculates the transmission weight of the signal series of the frequency band, based on the transfer function matrix, where frequency difference is equal in frequency bands in front of and at the back of the frequency band.
