PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television tuner capable of enhancing the immunity to strong input disturbance. SOLUTION: One-side terminal of a capacitor Cv included in a U-V separation circuit 3 is connected to an output node of a wideband amplifier 2, to an input node of a VHF high-band input tuning circuit 11, and to an input node of an IF trap circuit 18. The other-side terminal of the capacitor Cv is connected to an input node of a UHF input tuning circuit 4. The U-V separation circuit 3 distributes a television signal amplified by the wideband amplifier 2 into a system of a UHF band and a system of the VHF high-band and a VHF low-band. The IF trap circuit 18 receives the television signal distributed from the U-V separation circuit 3, attenuates a signal at a particular frequency band and gives the attenuated signal to a VHF low-band input tuning circuit 19.
