PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll bender, wherein the accuracy of positioning is improved and also scratching of a metallic sheet is prevented. SOLUTION: An upper roll 10 is rotationally driven with a first electric motor M1, also two lower rolls 12 are linked with a transmitting means such as a chain-sprocket and rotationally driven with a second electric motor M2. The first electric motor M1 and the second electric motor M2 are connected to a controlling means and controlled so that both electric motors M1, M2 are rotated synchronously by the controlling means. By the controlling means, the second electric motor M2 is rotationally controlled so that the circumferential speed V2 of the lower rolls 12 becomes the target speed LV obtained by adding an coefficientαto a calculated valueβwhich is obtained by a formula: V1×[(R+2M)/R], wherein the circumferential speed of the upper roll 10 is denoted as V1, the inside diameter of a tubular product which is finally obtained from the metallic sheet, as R and the thickness of the metallic sheet 14, as M.
