PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold capable of extending the service life of a gasket to reduce the replacing number of times of the gasket. SOLUTION: The mold is equipped with an upper mold 1, a lower mold 2, the retainer block 4 held in the retainer space 3 formed by abutting the upper and lower molds 1 and 2 and the gasket 9 arranged to the recessed step part 5 formed to the peripheral edge part of the retainer block 4 and brought into contact with the vertical surface 6 of the upper mold 1 and the horizontal surface 7 of the lower mold 2. The vertical surface 6 of the upper mold 1 is extended downward from the horizontal surface 7 of the lower mold 2. The end part of the horizontal surface 7 of the lower mold 2 approaching the vertical surface 6 of the upper mold 1 is formed as an inclined surface 10 inclined downward. The gasket 9 can be easily peeled at the time of demolding of a molded product 24 by the edge effect constituted of the lower end of the vertical surface 6 of the upper mold 1.
