<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the usable times of an optical disk by delaying deterioration of a test writing region , in an optical disk processing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk processing apparatus, every time OPC operation in which light emitting power of a laser beam for recording information is set to optimum light emitting power is performed, an order for changing light emitting power of the laser beam for forming a recording mark for test writing is set randomly to any of that the light emitting power is changed so as to increase successively (refer to fig. 3(a)) or that the light emitting power is changed so as to decrease successively (refer to fig. 3(a)). Thereby, when a same test writing region of the optical disk is used repeatedly in OPC operation, positions irradiated with the laser beam having high light emitting power are dispersed, consequently, deterioration of the test writing region can be delayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
