<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter which displays four or more colors, in which no significant difference in cell gaps among respective colors exists, and moreover, disorder of aligning the directions of liquid crystal molecules is produced less, without having to increase the number of manufacturing steps. <P>SOLUTION: The invention is related to the method for manufacturing the color filter for a liquid crystal display panel with 2(n+1) colors (where n is an integer ≥1), in which filter layers with predetermined patterns are formed in a photolithography method, after coloring resin has been applied, and the method has the steps to form a color filter layer of a first color with a predetermined pattern (1); to successively form color filter layers of other colors with a predetermined pattern, until the number of remaining colors gets (n+1) colors so as not to make the edges be adjacent to those of the other color filters (2); and to successively form color filter layers of the remaining colors among, and adjacent to, other color filter layers with a predetermined pattern (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
