<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate which does not form a gap between respective ink layers having different colors, prevents light leakage from occurring when being used for a display element and is capable of improving visibility of the display element, and to provide a method for forming color filter. <P>SOLUTION: Plural colors of inks 7R, 7G, 7B are transferred according to a thermal transfer system, a plurality of dots 25 are formed by the inks 7R, 7G, 7B, a prescribed numbers of dots 25 are arranged in parallel every colors, each color of ink layer 5 is formed by an assembly of one color dot 25, and respective colors of ink layers 5 are successively arranged in parallel. When the number of the dots 25 in one ink layer 5, arranged in the parallel direction of respective ink layers 5 is (p) and the number of the colors of ink 7R, 7G, 7B is (q), the respective ink layers 5 are superimposed such that accumulation size of (q) pieces of ink layers 5 in the parallel direction comes to the size of (p)×(q)-1 dots. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
