PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement of a meter apparatus for eliminating an effect on a driven indicator needle to be indicated, preventing a metal component in fugitive dust from being adsorbed and overcoming a problem on an appearance caused by the unnatural motion of the indicator needle when the indicator needle is prevented from being displaced from a lower limit position while a stepping motor is not driven. SOLUTION: The movement of the meter apparatus is provided with a case 6 disposed on the back face of a scale plate, an indicator needle shaft 4 having a tip attached to the indicator needle 2, the stepping motor 7 for applying a drive force to the indicator needle shaft 4 through a reduction gear train 8, and a stopper 11 for regulating a further turn of the indicator needle 2 in the return direction in a state that the indicator needle 2 returns to the lower limit position for indicating a lower limit of a scale mark. A sucked member 9 and an electromagnet 10 are provided in the case 6. The sucked member 9 is provided in the output gear 82 integrally turning with the indicator needle shaft 4, and formed of a magnetic material.
